The Georgia Outdoor Recreation Coalition (GORC) is a diverse and inclusive collaboration of organizations and individuals advocating for outdoor recreation in Georgia.
The idea for forming the Coalition originated at the 2019 Georgia Trail Summit in Augusta, during which participants were challenged to build upon the successful passage of the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Act.
We advocate for public policies that increase investment in trails and outdoor recreation while supporting communities in their efforts to build outdoor recreation economies.
