Coming to Columbus, GA

October 2nd-4th, 2025

“The Outdoor Recreation & Trail Summit aims to increase the capacity of local governments & advocates to create trail & outdoor recreation opportunities while advocating for greater statewide investment in these areas.”

George Dusenbury, Trust for Public Land’s Georgia State Director

The Georgia Outdoor Recreation & Trail Summit is the event for outdoor enthusiasts to learn, experience & advocate for the outdoors. Stellar mobile workshops, influential speakers & excellent networking make the Summit the place to be for those who care about connecting people to the outdoors.

Trust for Public Land and the Georgia Outdoor Recreation Coalition are excited to integrate the Trail Summit into the Bike-Walk-Live Summit. Pooling resources with our long-time partner Go Georgia (Formerly Georgia Bikes) will result in a more robust Summit and an even better experience for participants.

Please Join Us at the Bike-Walk-Live Summit!

This year, the Georgia Outdoor Recreation Coalition will be taking a lighter touch at the summit, as we work to regroup and restructure in anticipation of next years state elections, especially as we will have new leadership in place.

GORC participants will be making several presentations at the Summit, including George Dusenbury’s presentation on the Beltline Emerald Necklace 2.0. study.

GORC ANNUAL GATHERING 2025
GORC will have a table with helpful resources available during the Bike-Walk-Live Summit happy hour gathering at the Banks Food Hall on Friday, October 3rd at 5:45 pm.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
